ARB Registered Architect
We are looking for An ARB registered architect to join our busy team. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of attractive, functional and safe building projects across our client portfolio
- Working closely with clients to create initial project plans that meet specified requirements.
- Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications both by hand and using CAD software (AutoCAD and Revit.).
- Managing projects from inception to completion and suggesting adaptations to design and timeframe if necessary.
- Preparing relevant paperwork including applications for planning permission, building control drawings and construction contracts.
- Liaising with internal and external professionals including team members, freelancers and construction workers to ensure project runs smoothly.
- Regularly visiting site to monitor project progression and resolve risks and issues.
- Establish good working relationships with both internal and external clients and provide a high quality service which meets their needs.

- Permanent position based at our office in London.
- Working hours 9-5, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime required.
- Regular site visits required.
- Qualified to RIBA Part III or equivalent with at least three years of practical experience.
- Good knowledge of the UK architecture industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to balance multiple projects at once.
- Experience working with AutoCAD and Revit.
- RIBA/ARB registered.
- A full, clean driving license.
Architectural Technologists:
To provide experienced professional support and delivery to the project design teams. Ensure the commercial interests of the client and the Company is safeguarded. Working in direct collaboration with the project design teams in competently implementing the requirements of individual project briefs.
- Defining, recording and maintaining the project brief information from the client and/or other relevant parties to determine design input information.
- Preparing detailed designs and/or construction details for whole projects, buildings, elements or components in line with current building practice.
- Clearly communicating proposed solutions to all design team members and client team.
- Attending meetings, taking, preparing, checking and issuing minutes where required.
- Co-ordinate the design of constructional elements including work by consultants, specialist contractors, and suppliers.
- Establish good working relationships with both internal and external clients and provide a high quality service which meets their needs.

- A degree in Architectural Technology is preferable.
- Residential sector experience and experience in the delivery of projects stages 3-7.
- Strong Revit and/or AutoCAD experience.
- Strong technical design and detailing skills.
- A thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
- Familiarity with the regulatory design standards commonly used in the residential sector.
- A thorough technical knowledge of Residential projects.
- Ability to produce and coordinate comprehensive working drawings packages for Design & Build contractors.
